About the Role

Successful Applicant will work closely with Owners, Clients and Staff in a small, Family Plumbing Business of nearly 30 years.


Casual Position: Monday & Tuesday 9.00am – 4.30pm (negotiable), with further opportunities for LONG TERM Permanent Part Time employment and additional hours in Kingston SE

Requirements/Responsibilities

  • The applicant will need to be an asset to our business, engage and have good rapport with the existing team and possess the following qualities;

  • Be honest, confidential and respectful of customer and business relations.

  • Ability to work in a team, have a good work ethic to establish a routine and manage own work tasks independently and unsupervised.

  • Be motivated and have good time management with the ability to multi-task and learn quickly.

  • Excellent computer literacy, involving email, use of a specialised software package and form/letter preparation.

  • Be a great communicator with polite manner.


This position will involve assisting with:

  • Reception and Administration Duties (via phone, email and face to face) - responding and follow up on enquiries as appropriate, consistent with the acquired knowledge of business’s operations and Plumbing services.

  • Organising and scheduling jobs to ensure smooth, efficient workflow with Tradespersons, customers and contractors.

  • Some invoicing and receipting.

  • Preparation, receiving and stocking product orders.

  • Completing sales and providing general information on products and services, e.g. front counter/telephone with on-job training.

  • General duties within the business, including housekeeping and lifting. This will require a level of reasonable health and fitness.
