  • Who would benefit from advertising in the Information Guide?
    The Information Guide is suited to any one that owns or operates a business, community group, non-profit or hobby business within the Kingston District Council area. It is designed to showcase all of us in our entirety as a community and what we have to offer. The theme for the guide is Shop Local: Retail Shopping & Lifestyle Eat & Drink Local: Café, Bakery, Hotel, Restaurant, Dining, Takeaway Stay Local: Accommodation Experience Local: Event, Arts or Museum, Charter or Tour Enjoy Local: Local Produce, Cellar Door, Homemade Crafts Service Local: Trade and Professional Services Play Local: Community or Sporting Group
  • Where will the Information Guides be distributed?
    The printed guides will be distributed in Shop Fronts, Office Fronts and Information Outlets. It will also be available to view and download online.
  • How many guides will be printed?
    A minimum of 4000 guides will be printed, however, depending on support more will be printed. Printing Details: A5 (148mm x 210mm) Portrait Saddle Stitched Booklet, printed in Full Colour. Cover 250gsm Matt Satin Artboard Internal Pages 150gsm Matt Satin
  • Why does it cost to advertise?
    Whilst I appreciate this is a community Information Guide and despite the entire production of the Information Guide being designed in house, the printing costs actual money. I have done my best to keep the advertising costs to an absolute minimum, however it all comes down to community support and participation. This project wholly funded by JT Elements time, a portion of the Discover Kingston SE Membership and the Advertisers. The production of the guide will not proceed if it is not supported financially.

  • What is a member and How do I get membership prices?
    To receive the member prices for the Information Guide, all you have to do is become a 12-month marketing community member of Discover Kingston SE.   • How do I book?
    Bookings can be completed online at https://wix.123formbuilder.com/form-6264232/form or by completing the manual form found in the media kit?
  • Booking Terms and Conditions
    Artwork and copy for all 1/4 page sized and section listings adverts MUST be in the prescribed template format. Only those operators taking 1/2 page or larger will have creative rights to use their own branding and advertising design. Index listings cannot be purchased. Index listings are only included as part of an advertisement purchase. Sponsorship is only available for 2023-2024 Members of Discover Kingston. It is the responsibility of the advertiser to ensure correct and complete information is submitted, including phone, mobile, email and addresses. Advertisers must ensure that they have permission to use supplied photographs. JT Elements reserves the right to refuse unsuitable advertisements. All bookings cancelled before the booking deadline will be charged at 50%. Cancellations made after the booking date will be charged at the full rate. Members Rates are only available for renewing 2022-23 Kingston Connect Members or for New Members joining the 2023-24 Discover Kingston SE Marketing Membership. Membership applications must be received prior or at the same time as the Booking Form. Listings and advertisements are reserved for Businesses, Community Groups and Hobbyists that have a “business address” located within the Kingston District Council area. Updated Booking Deadline: Friday, 1st July 2023. Copy Deadline: Friday 31st August 2023. Payment Terms: Full payment due within 7 days of invoice. Payment plans negotiable.
  • How do I supply my advertising materials
    Members and Non-Members requiring Artwork to be Completed All required details/instructions, images and logos for artwork production. 300dpi graphics & images. PDF or EPS logo format. Artwork will be produced and a proof sent to you for approval.
