About the event

History & High Tea at the Old Woolstore - a delightful afternoon of stories of pastoral pioneers, savoury delights and sweet treats. Set in the historic Old Woolstore — once the hub of Kingston’s wool trade and a symbol of the days when Australia ‘rode on the sheep’s back.’

You’ll hear the stories of:

  • Margaret Hutchison Dunn (Founder of Woolmit, 1846) introduced by Eliza Wright (descendant, Kingston SE).

  • John Gall of Cantara (1862) introduced by David Gall (descendant, Naracoorte).
