About the Role
Current Winter Hours: Minimum 15 Hours Per Week. These hours will/can increase during peak summer season with the opportunity to further skill set and hours by learning Front of House. This is a casual position.
Requirements/Responsibilities
What we’re looking for:
Someone who thrives in a busy, energetic kitchen setting
Experience in kitchens, canteens, food trucks, or similar fast-paced food environments preferred but not essential.
Weekend and Public Holiday availability
Confidence working on grills and following recipes accurately
Strong multitasking skills and ability to stay calm under pressure
A team player who communicates well and works closely with kitchen and FOH staff
Reliable, punctual and passionate about great food
Ensure Food Safety and Work Health & Safety Standards are consistently upheld
Willingness to learn
What you’ll be doing:
Primary tasks for this role include preparing, cooking and presenting a range of menu items. Managing kitchen prep and stock levels when required. Assist in developing seasonal specials and contribute ideas for menu updates.
